YIRANTIAN won 1436 x LABELHOOD Baby Cashmere Innovation Scholarship
On March 29, 2019, YIRANTIAN stood out from the designers who participated in the LABELHOOD release of Shanghai Fashion Week and became the winner of this year’s “1436 x LABELHOOD Baby Cashmere Innovation Scholarship”.
Nine designs with 1436 cashmere raw materials and technical support were presented in YIRANTIAN’s newly released 2019 autumn and winter collection. They consisted of cashmere tops, cashmere cardigans and cashmere wide-leg pants. The main colors included black, white and gray, meanwhile with brown and dark green as ornament. The charm of female fortitude and softness was reflected completely in every stitch and every piece of cashmere by the match between soft baby cashmere and neat cut details.
YIRANTIAN’s classic design language combines the soft and rare warm cashmere to create a more layered clothing texture, which more aptly conveys her pursuit and interpretation to women’s dress: it is free and bound, gentle but uninhibited, at the same time to define and to be defined.
In order to gain a deeper understanding of the preciousness of 1436 diamond-grade baby cashmere and the pursuit of strict craftsmanship, YIRANTIAN went to Ordos with 1436 and had close contact with the Arbas Baby Cashmere Goat, and witnessed 1436’s insistence and exploration to craftsmanship.
The series will be available for sale in August 2019, please stay tuned.
About
1436 x LABELHOOD Baby Cashmere Innovation Scholarship
In the spring and summer of 2018, 1436 reached a strategic consensus with LABELHOOD and established “1436 x LABELHOOD Baby Cashmere Innovation Scholarship”. A designer was selected as the winner of scholarship from the LABELHOOD release schedule. This award encouraged more young designers to create better Chinese designs and provided funds as support for Chinese excellent youth independent designers, the world’s leading cashmere production process, as well as the exclusive diamond-grade cashmere of 1436 brand. Both sides hope to better help local Chinese designers to explore the issue of “cashmere innovation” together by the integration of innovative spirit from young designers and the maintenance of the blood and characteristics of designer brands.
