Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets,
The home of Arbas baby cashmere goats is also the home of mankind,
In the pursuit of sustainable development, 1436 earnestly implements the environmental protection policy,
Not only because it is our responsibility, but also because it is the right thing to do.
The only solution that promises a sustainable future is appreciation and respect for the everlasting vitality of the earth.

The Arbas baby cashmere goats that have brought warmth to so many people who come from a wild luxuriant prairie with crystal-clear water,
As a rare species, it is a marvelous and singular gift from nature that Otog Banner and two surrounding banners in Inner Mongolia are so proud of.
In the early days, 1436 pondered over how to protect the home of these goats. It occurred to us that the only solution that promises a sustainable future is appreciation and respect for the everlasting vitality of the earth.
Some herdsmen once tried nurturing hybrid goats to increase output, because the rarity of the cashmere renders it a superb luxury,
However, what came along with increased output was short and coarse cashmere, at the expense of the premium quality endowed by nature.
Driven by the vision to maintain the invaluable pure blood of these Arbas baby cashmere goats, also out of reverence for nature, the great Creator,
1436 and the Government of Otog Banner co-built a natural reserve and supported local afforestation projects,
Meanwhile, we have fostered an integrated industrial chain that covers the breeding of Arbas baby cashmere goats, cashmere purchase and inspection and de-haired cashmere processing, to enable sustainable development.
In the two raw material preservation zones built by 1436, herdsmen have become the biggest winners with stable access to clients offering desirably high price;
We directly purchase cashmere from local herdsmen every year, offering a price that is 50%~100% higher than the prevailing market price; meanwhile, 1436 also provides subsidy for premium cashmere to herdsmen regularly, in a bid to improve their living standards.
Herdsmen purchasing purebred Arbas baby cashmere goats will be rewarded with some bonus and our investment also goes into local captive breeding projects,
To effectively protect the ecology of the prairie.
Meanwhile, the Group gives away select bill goats to impoverished households and prioritize their kids looking for jobs when job opportunities open up,
And impoverished herdsmen suffering from natural or manmade disasters or severe disability are entitled to favorable treatment and subsidy exclusive to the impoverished staff of the Group.
These favorable measures are intended to protect the rare species and enhance the quality of the cashmere, so that the rare DNA will not suffer extinction.

This prairie is the shared home of Arbas baby cashmere goats and mankind.
Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets; 1436 has been pushing for a green development path in a low-profile manner for years, so that herdsmen and their goats could continue to enjoy a tranquil and free life on the vast verdant land for the many years to come and the serene, harmonious and marvelous natural landscape could stay with us forever.
1436 has always been committed to a green revolution that redefines goat breeding, green packaging of cashmere products and recycling of used cashmere products based on the production process, as a gesture of gracious support on the construction of ecological civilization.
The Heavy Industry Circular Economy Park built by the ERDOS Group in Otog Banner, Ordos City has secured some preliminary results in recent years,
Seeking the most efficient resource recycling,
The building of the Park has achieved zero discharge of waste water, exhaust gas and solid waste to the largest extent possible, making remarkable contribution to the restoration and construction of local ecological environment.
A case in point would be dyeing. 1436 never fails to roll out new vibrant and dynamic colors for each season,
While seeking breakthroughs in dyeing techniques, the Group is also thoughtful about the use of environment-friendly dyeing materials.
We employ natural and non-irritating green environment-friendly dyeing materials sourced from Switzerland throughout our production lines,
And lay great emphasis on subtle details, such as the use of clean energy and equipment,
We also run a set of sophisticated production systems to monitor the water quality and green treatment of water supply and drainage.
Apart from environmental protection efforts, 1436 is also proactively involved in social welfare services, donating more than RMB 400 million,
The Group has championed a series of environmental protection initiatives in its hometown Ordos City, to push forward the sustainable development of the prairie and herdsmen.
These initiatives include supporting Engebei Desertification Control and Afforestation Project,
Breeding Goat Research of the Inner Mongolia University,
The Project of Returning Grazing Land to Grassland and Captive Breeding in Ordos City,
And the Primary Processing Project that benefits farmers and herdsmen in the cashmere production area,
The Group also supports farmers and herdsmen to raise cashmere goats in a scientific way and builds hope primary schools.
Every inch of the 1436 fabric contains reverence and appreciation for nature,
Which is the green commitment of 1436 to the sustainable development of resources. We still have a long way to go, and the sustainable development scheme is and will always be an ongoing initiative.
