1436, the rare baby cashmere brand, takes Arbas baby cashmere as its source of creation. In 2006, 1436 was named for the rare cashmere specification in the world, representing the brand’s confidence in and commitment to pursuit of excellence. From that moment on, it never stopped going along the way of self-demanding.
It embraces world-leading technology, its R&D team keeps pursuing higher specification and standards, and it engages internationally-known designers, who spark inspiration in the design point of ‘no limit for cashmere’ and encourage each other with the technical team.

We formulate international standards

ERDOS Group has established National Cashmere Products Engineering & Technical Research Center and boasts internationally advanced equipment for research and experiment. And 1436 engages professional engineering technicians with high evaluation standards and has developed a perfect R&D platform for scientific and technical innovation to inject more exquisite craft to cashmere fashion, and therefore has gained more international say.
ERDOS Group obtained capability accreditation by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), China Metrology Accreditation (CMA), and American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC). We are constantly striving to make 1436 a star in international competition. The technical center has both technicians with more than 30 years of experience and doctors who are dedicated to R&D. They are specialized in green design and technical breakthrough in fields such as cashmere, weaving, and dyeing. R&D records over the years are kept in the laboratory, detailing the batch number, color number, and count of each cashmere yarn born, and samples of the cashmere yarns are made for being kept on file. Currently, the technical center of 1436 is developing 230-count ultralight products in hope of creating new international standards. All these are the best evidence for keeping improving. Each time we strive to be better than last time, constantly striving for excellence.
1436 has achieved good results in authoritative capability testing and cyclic test organized by Cashmere and Camel Hair Manufacturers Institute (CCMI) and has built a strong reputation and influence at home and abroad. The laboratory boasts domestic and international first-class testing equipment and leading detection technology, especially in respects such as measuring the length and fineness of cashmere materials, identification technology for blending cashmere with fibers of other animals, detection of safety and environmental indexes, and testing of functional indexes. In 2009, ERDOS Group was recognized by American CCMI, an authoritative international organization, and became a member of the cashmere industry. Meanwhile, the research center also undertakes inspection of puzzling samples sent from testing organizations across the country and inspections entrusted by cashmere enterprises nationwide. 1436 has never ceased pursuing excellent quality. Only by standing at the height of the world can it have international competitiveness and bring China’s cashmere brands onto the stage of the world.

Going global is both its vision and its mission

Not only does it compete with the world in technology and design, but also it goes global in market expanding.
In 2015, 1436 was invited to participate in Edinburgh International Fashion Festival and served as a brand at the first show of the fashion week.
In the same year, 1436 was awarded Best of the Best by the American Robb Report, known as Oscar of the fashion world.
Furthermore, in 2016, it successfully developed its market abroad. Its first boutique abroad was stationed on the boutique floor of Osaka Hankyu Department Store Umeda Main Store which is a retail giant in Japan, being a milestone of the brand’s internationalization.
Its vision to bring China’s baby cashmere to all over the world is also its own mission. It is going on at an appropriate speed and firmly.
