The Arbas baby goats are a treasure that nature has endowed to 1436. With years of in-depth analyses, researches and careful preparation, “Superfine Baby Cashmere Field” plan starts to take shape. The plan is intended to enable the Arbas baby goats proper to Inner Mongolia to carry on their family line in the home that they have lived in for generations.
Superfine Baby Cashmere Field: Standard Villa for the Arbas Baby Cashmere Goats
Creating a beautiful green environment is highly relevant to humankind. While upholding both its fashion and environmental protection ideas, 1436 also calls for the fashion industry to pay attention to the environment. The establishment of the “1436 Superfine Baby Cashmere Field” is based on 1436’s green and environment-friendly consumption concept. The “new home” for Arbas goats, with full modern and standardized facilities, creates a better environment for the baby goats to grow healthily and tries to solve the problems of the depletion in the number of high-quality goats and the decline of production.
Standardized Field Area: providing the goats with a comfortable living space by the standard of 20 mu of field for each goat.
Standardized Area of Forage Land: ensuring that in most of the time, especially in winter when the cashmere grows, the goats will have access to self-sufficient and reliable forage by the standard of at least 0.5 mu of grass land for each goat.
Standardized Forage Planting: ensuring a reasonable forage formula for the cashmere goats based on the reasonable grass and straw ratio proposed by scientific experts. Feeding the goats according to expert advice, which depends on weather and grazing conditions in summer, while in winter, the goats should be fed regularly.
Standardized Barn Construction: the barn features a semi-open brick structure with a color-steel roof, which ensures the goats will enjoy about 8 hours of sunshine a day while developing cashmere. The barn will be cleaned once a week in summer and twice a month in winter to prevent cashmere contamination from the beginning of growth. It’s disinfected once a month to prevent the goats from virus infection and ensure the qualification of the cashmere fiber.
Standardized Activity Area: the fence is built around the barn to make sure the goats will have certain space for drinking water and forage & feeding by the standard of 3 square meters of activity space for each cashmere goat.
Standardized Electronic Records: the goats will wear electronic ear tags at birth to make it more convenient to track their birth information, pedigree, medical history, epidemic prevention and the time for cashmere collection. Electronic records will be established to facilitate herdsmen in grazing and management and the experts in making track records for scientific research and planned improvements to ensure every baby goat grows healthily.
